Sr. Designer/Art Director

Engine Interactive, an 11-year-old award-winning interactive agency, seeks experienced interactive Art Director. We are looking for an individual who has substantial knowledge of the industry, an exquisite sense and love of design, and is interested in leadership opportunities with a firm that is recognized internationally for their interactive style and substance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As this is a fundamental role within the agency, the ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of four to eight years experience in the interactive sphere
• A portfolio that shows both aesthetic sensibilities coupled with UI/IA best practices
• The ability to interface confidently with both clients and internal teams
• An internal desire to continually improve your personal and company's level of design
• Experience in leading projects from inception to implementation

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Expert knowledge of Illustrator/Photoshop/Flash
• Expert or working knowledge of Action-scripting and motion sequencing
• Strong understanding of information architecture, UI/UX
• Understanding of cross platform, multi-media design and the requirements surrounding the creative implementation
• Ability to present concepts and designs effectively to both internal and external audiences
• Experience with both client and team management
• Creative-minded, goal-oriented

• Works well with others
• Loves the work
• Slightly OCD when dealing with the details of the design, as well as communication with clients and staff.
